Hi There!

Hi! I'm Kaitlin! I found my love for planning weddings in 2019 when I planned my own! I loved all the organizing, creativity, and adding in all the tiny personal details to make our day unique and perfect. I loved it so much, I decided to get my certification! When I'm not planning weddings, I'm out hiking or kayaking with my husband and daughter, trying out a new recipe in the kitchen, or planning our next adventure. I look forward to working with you and bringing your wedding dreams to life!

Hi! I am Nicole Deal, and I am one of the Assistant Planners for Knot Common Events. I started working with Ally in 2023 and quickly fell in love with wedding planning; from helping others’ big day come to life to getting to know each couple is truly amazing. I recently got engaged to my absolute best friend and we are getting married in August 2026, so my own wedding planning is currently in full effect. I enjoy being outdoors, working out at Burn Boot Camp and doing anything with my friends and family.

Meet the team!

I am Ally, the planner behind Knot Common Events. I was born and raised in North Carolina and grew up southeast of Greensboro, NC. I married my high school sweetheart in January 2021 and welcomed my baby girl in March of 2025! Planning is my passion. I have always been extremely organized and love a good itinerary or plan. While my friends were watching the Disney Channel, I was watching “Say Yes to the Dress”, “David Tutera Celebrations” and buying wedding magazines. I was able to tailor my college education at Appalachian State University to help make my dream of becoming a wedding and event planner a reality. My favorite part of wedding planning is seeing every detail fall into place and helping couples enjoy a stress free planning experience. When I am not planning weddings I enjoy eating Mexican food, drinking Dr.Pepper, spending time with my husband and daughter and traveling!
